St. John School Student Council


The purpose of the St. John School Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. These elected students help share student ideas, interests and opportunities with the school community. Student leaders plan and implement events that contribute to school spirit and to supporting our community.

Procedures & Benefits


The Student Council follows parliamentary procedures. Representatives present ideas, discuss and take a vote. The results are confirmed by the student council president. Approved ideas are implemented following the discussion and voting.

Student Council is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills for any student who is interested in leadership, organization, event planning or becoming more involved in the legacy of the school.
