Financial Aid

Tuition assistance is available for Grades 1-8.  An application for admission to the school and acceptance to the school must be received prior to being considered for financial aid.  Annual, semi-annual and 10, 11 or 12-month payment plans are also available.

Fair Share Responsibility is $200 per family. Tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a child at St. John School. We rely on additional fundraising events each year and require each family to participate in these events to raise $200 per family. Families can also elect to donate the $200 and take the tax deduction allowable by law.

Scholarship opportunities available for families include:

  • The Archdiocese of Hartford Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools (FACS) offers a scholarship by application in the late winter for rising 4th graders.  This is a renewable scholarship and application is made directly to FACS.
  • Through the generosity of donors and the parish, St. John School is able to offer a few limited grants for students in grades 1-8. To apply for tuition assistance, please visit this link for the FACTS website and follow the directions there.
