SJS Eagle Press School Newspaper

      The SJS Eagle Press student newspaper was launched in the fall of 2010 .  The SJS Eagle Press contains news from the school office, student written stories about school news and sports teams, an advice column, school activities in each classroom and a cartoon feature.  This extracurricular activity was started by school parent, Mrs. Nancy Kinsella.  The newspaper gives students a great introduction into the field of journalism.  The newspaper staff meets at recess and after school to discuss topics and plan for the next edition.  Papers are sold at lunch for .25 or an annual subscription can be purchased for $1.00.  The St. John the Evangelist School Eagle Press offers timely and thought provoking student articles.  Pick up your copy at the office today!
