Physical Education

Our Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart activities were great fun! 

For the month of February, the students at the big school have started a unit on Floor Hockey!

The students will learn how to hold the stick and hit the puck safely.  Then we will

play in small sided games with shooting into nets.

At the Little School, the students have been practicing their coordination

with the Skip Ball!  Students wear a ring around their ankle that is attached

 to a cord with a ball at the end of it.  The child needs to swing the ball around his/her

foot and jump over it with the OPPOSITE foot.

Remember that game when we were young?!!
